Forge Vase

Forge is a vase that looks as though it has been made by hand over a long time - and that is precisely the point. Its body is beaten aluminium, finished to read as antiqued brass: warm, uneven, with the kind of surface depth that only comes from a process that leaves its marks. The tightly wrapped horizontal ribbing contrasts with the hammered, open surface above, giving the piece a strong visual structure without feeling designed.
