Onyx Pillar Holder Large

A pillar candlestick is one of the oldest forms there is, and most of them look like they belong in a different century. The Onyx is the version we actually use: the classic stacked profile of discs, spheres and cones, but cast in matte black iron with a lightly textured finish, which strips out the period fussiness and leaves the silhouette.

That's what makes it unusually flexible. The shape works in a traditional room, the finish works in a modern one, and at this price it's the easiest way in the collection to add height and shadow to a shelf or mantel. Use the two sizes together rather than alone; the step in height is what makes the grouping read as considered.
