These have been on my mantlepiece for the better part of a year, and they're one of my favourite pieces in the whole collection.

Each one is cast in iron and finished in a distressed antique gold, and the casting is slightly uneven on purpose. You can tell they were actually made rather than just produced. The two candlesticks in the pair don't quite match each other either, and that variation is the point: it's what separates them from the polished, identical gold candlesticks you'll find everywhere else.

They come as a pair in two heights, which does the styling work for you. Offset them on a mantelpiece, group them with a third object on a console, or run them down the centre of a dining table. The antique gold reads warm and honeyed by candlelight and quieter by day, so they work in the room around the clock, not just in the evening.
